TroubleShooting

Printing a PDF is not working or Adobe crashes while you're trying to read a pdf:

• Download the PDF (this seems to help with printing and viewing issues)
  1. Right click on the PDF link and select 'Save Target/Link As'.
  2. Save file to a location on your harddrive that you'll remember.
  3. Navigate to the file you've just saved using Windows Explorer or My Computer.
  4. Double click on the PDF.
  5. Read and/or print document.
• Upgrade to the latest version of Acrobat Reader. We recommend at least Acrobat Reader 5.1.

Security issues in Internet Explorer (won't let you download or view a PDF):

1. Go to the Tools menu.
2. Choose Internet Options.
3. Click the Security tab.
4. Click Trusted sites image.
5. Click the Sites button.
6. If the checkbox labeled "Require server verification (https) for all sites in this zone." is checked uncheck it.
7. In Add this Web site to the zone: type "www.eurekanet.org".
8. Click Add (www.eurekanet.org should appear in the box below). After downloading you may wish to return to this window to change the settings back.
9. Click OK.
10. Click OK at the Internet Options window.
11. Go back and attempt to download again.

File Compression utility

Patches for the Macintosh are compressed with Stuffit from Aladdin. You will need a copy of Stuffit Expander in order to decompress the files. If you don't have a copy, click on the STUFFIT icon below to visit Aladdin's web page and download a free copy of Stuffit Expander for the Macintosh.

Some COCIS Windows patches and downloads are compressed using Winzip. Use Winzip to decompress the files.
