EUREKA's Information Development department is made up of Lynda, Melinda, Ruth and Rain, plus outside contractors. They research and develop most of the information found in EUREKA's software. They are responsible for Career Paths, Occupation descriptions and wages, Industry information, California and International School information, International Occupation descriptions, Programs, XPLOR, Crosswalks and more.

Lynda Jackson

In addition to working in the Information Department Lynda is the Administrative Assistant here at EUREKA. Belonging to two departments she has two writeups see the other one.

In her spare time she takes "great care" of her seventeen year old daughter and works as an Artistic Director and Stage manager at BRG in Berkeley.

Melinda Tai

Melinda has been a data information analyst since 1990. And she says she's still kicking!

Rain Hendricks

Rain joined EUREKA in 2005. More info to come.

Ruth Hoppe

Ruth is an Information Analyst who specializes in researching occupational and labor market information for EUREKA. She has an extensive background in career information development and career counseling. She conducted job analysis studies for the Dictionary of Occupational Titles (DOT) and helped convert the DOT to O*NET - now SOC-O*NET (http://online.onetcenter.org/ ). She developed a database of national-level occupational certifications which is available at http://www.careertools.org/certification, and was a key player in developing the detailed work activities used in the O*NET Code Connector at http://www.onetcodeconnector.org/home.pl

In her spare time, Ruth likes to hike, garden, practice authentic movement, and do volunteer work.
