Amar and Dena are the people you will talk to if you have software questions or problems with EUREKA, eCOCIS, Occ-U-Sort, MicroSkills or EUREKA.org. We handle all the inhouse hardware and software issues. We also turn the files ID, the Information Development Department, creates into data for our software & website.
Amar has worked at EUREKA since 1993. He handles technical questions for the different versions of EUREKA or ECOCIS and also tries to keep our network running smoothly. He works closely with our Information Department to facilitate more efficient updates to our data and is one of our proof-readers.
Amar is also a part-time musician and yoga instructor.
How I got here: I graduated from the University of California at Santa Cruz, with a BA in Computer and Information Sciences in 1996. I worked for a temporary employment agency for a few months. Using the phone skills I learned from those administration and dispatch jobs I landed in EUREKA's Technical Support Department in 1997.
